Nurstead Court
Since the 1500s

About Nurstead.

A working country estate in Meopham, Kent — lived in, looked after, and opened up for the people we host.

The house

A building with a long memory.

The earliest parts of Nurstead Court date to the 14th century. The house has been a family home for generations — not a museum-piece, not a corporate venue, but a working estate that's hosted gatherings of every shape since long before "wedding venue" was a category.

Today we open the house and grounds for weddings, events, stays and seasonal experiences — while still being lived in and cared for week to week.

The team

One team, all the time.

Annabelle leads. The kitchen, the bar, the music team and the day coordinators have all been working together for years. That continuity is what makes Nurstead feel different from a one-off booking.

When you contact us, you're talking to the same team that'll cook your food, pour your drinks and run the day — not a sales office.
